Gloucester Business Chamber has brought back its festive Rudolph Cash Splash.
After a brief hiatus, the popular ‘shop local’ initiative encourages residents to consider doing their Christmas shopping in town.
Not only does it support local businesses but it also provides the opportunity for people to win a bit for Gloucester currency to spend in the town in the future.
President, James Hooke said the chamber is happy the promotion back up and running.
“Rudolph took a few years off but he’s back now giving local residents the chance to win cash and some fantastic prizes while most importantly, supporting local business,” James said.
“It’s great to see everyone coming together to support this program and we are so grateful to all those businesses who are participating, as well as generously donating prizes.”
Shop from any of the participating businesses displaying the Rudolph poster and write your name and contact details on the back of your receipt. Drop your receipt into the entry boxes located at Yates and Twomey, Gloucester Health Foods, Nanna’s Homewares and Antiques or Gloucester Town & Country.
Weekly winners are drawn every Friday, with the major prizes drawn Friday, December 7, at the Gloucester Community Christmas Carnival. Up to $2000 worth of Rudolph cash is up for grabs which can be spent at any local business. There’s no minimum spend required, so get shopping and drop your receipts in.
