Gloucester Combined Churches will once again be putting an evening of celebration ahead of Christmas.
Members of community groups, students from both the primary and high schools, parishioners from Gloucester’s many churches and lovers of Christmas will join together to sing carols, intertwined with stories of Christmas.
Carols in the Park will be held at Bert Gallagher Oval within Gloucester District Park on Boundary Street on Sunday December 9 from 6pm.
This year’s event will again be hosted by the Master of Ceremony (MC) Ty Soupidis and he’ll be encouraging spectators to sing along.
Performers:
- Liam Chester and Nina Samson
- Gloucester Public School choir and Windstars
- Barrington Public School
- Gloucester High School year 11 ensemble
- The Gloucester Singers
- Gloucester combined churches band
- Special guest performer John Newsome
Everyone is invited to come along for this great family event.
You can bring something to sit on, like chairs or a rug and something to nibble on, like a picnic.
There will also be a barbecue, drinks and candles available for purchase. All money collected during the event goes toward religious education in the local schools.
