The second round of the Gloucester’s mixed twilight netball competition for 2018 has come to an end and with it the final battle for the title of champion.

After several months of round robin competition played Wednesday night at the netball courts in Gloucester District Park, the grand final was held on Wednesday, November 28.
Minor premiers, the black team started the match strongly commanding a four point lead over the silver team at the end of the first quarter.
Onlookers were treated to a high quality match with black keeping their narrow lead throughout the game.
Silver kept fighting hard during the match but black were too strong with a final score of 35-28.
Following the grand final match was trophy presentation.
Congratulations to Ashleigh Saville for winning the 2018 twilight season pointscore trophy for Most Valuable Player (MVP); Most Improved went to Keira Macdonald and Will Brown, while the Encouragement awards went to Loryn Bratfield and Casey Gooch.

Gloucester netball runs two competitions during the year for mixed twilight which is open to any player turning 14 years old and over.
