Last week, the veterans played a three person stableford multiplier event. In this, the individual stableford points of each member of a team of three are multiplied together to give the team score. If each member played to handicap, this would result in a team score of 144 points.
The run away winners with an amazing score of 199 points were Phil Hawkins, Peter McIntyre and Bruce Fraser. A long way back, but still with a good score were Elaine Murray, Denver Webb and Derek Bardwell with 164 points. Third place went to Roy Crichton, Ric Paff and Col Roser on 128 points. Denver Webb had the best individual score for the day with 44 points. Nearest the pins went to Roy Crichton and Ele Fraser on the 4//13th and to Mark Stone on 6/15. The stayers award went to Bill Murray, Mark Howland and Bob Kirkup.
