According to the Bureau of Meteorology, the remainder of Friday February 8 will be partly cloudy with temperatures reaching 35 degrees. There is a 50 per cent chance of showers with a chance of a thunderstorm in the afternoon and evening. Winds northerly 15 to 20 km/h becoming light in the middle of the day then becoming northeasterly 15 to 25 km/h in the early afternoon.
Temperature are predicted to again reach 35 degrees on Saturday, February 9 with a higher chance of rainfall up to 10mm. It should be a mostly sunny morning with the chance of showers and a thunderstorm in the afternoon and evening. Winds northwest to northeasterly 15 to 25 km/h tending south to southwesterly 15 to 20 km/h in the late evening.
It will be partly cloudy on Sunday February 10, with temperatures dropping along with the chance of rain. Maximum temperatures are predicted to reach 29 degrees with a slight chance of a shower. Winds southeast to southwesterly 15 to 25 km/h becoming southeasterly 15 to 20 km/h during the day then becoming light during the evening.
Monday February 11 should be mostly sunny with temperatures returning to the 30s and a very low chance of rain. Light winds becoming east to northeasterly 15 to 20 km/h during the afternoon then tending north to northeasterly during the evening. Daytime temperatures are predicted to reach 33 degrees.
The Bureau of Meteorology recommends the use of sun protection from 9am to 5pm across the weekend with the UV index predicted to reach extreme.
