There were 64 members present and 20 apologies. President Robert Sparke welcomed all and introduced Ashleigh Hickman as the returning officer, and the Rotary Club representative for the election.
The minutes of the last AGM were read and accepted followed by the treasurer's annual report which was also accepted.
President Robert put forward the committee's recommendation for annual fees to remain the same as last year at $15 and the joining fee of $15 to also remain the same. These proposals were carried by the membership.
President Robert than delivered his annual report thanking the outgoing committee and portfolio holders for their hard work over the last year and recapping the years activities.
The activities were six away trips - made up of one day and up to five days' duration, as well as barbecues for Mother's Day and Father's Day along with a soup and damper luncheon and Christmas Party, plus the monthly meetings.
So, all in all, it was a very busy year for the club. The elections were held and the new committee is as follows: president - Joan Harwood; vice president - Keith Franks; secretary - Judy Earle; treasurer - Peter Hazell; immediate past president - Robert Sparke.
Committee members are: Dennis Buckton, Beryl Franklin, Rae Davies, Robyn Franks, and Ross Cullen.
We wish the new committee all the best for 2019/2020.
