MidCoast Council's 'Community Conversations' program is attracting good support and positive feedback, according to council.

The communities of Taree, Forster and Gloucester are soon to have their turn to participate in the new format.
The program kicked off last week in Old Bar and Nabiac and will continue this week with the team heading to the Stroud School of Arts Hall on April 2 from 6pm.
Conversations will then take place at the following locations:
- Hallidays Point - Blackhead SLSC - Thursday April 11, 6pm
- Taree - Council Chambers - Tuesday April 16, 6pm
- Forster - Council Chambers - Wednesday April 17, 10.30am
- Gloucester - Senior Citizens - Wednesday April 17, 6pm
- Harrington - Bowling Club - Tuesday April 30, 6pm
- Bulahdelah - School of Arts Hall - Wednesday May 1, 6pm
- Pacific Palms - Community Hall - Thursday May 2, 6pm
- Wingham - Services Club - Tuesday May 7, 6pm
- Tea Gardens - Baptist Church - Thursday May 9, 6pm
The sessions are a way to raise issues that concern you, find out about projects in the area and learn more about the work of council around the community.
"It's been wonderful to see so many people join us at the first two conversations," MidCoast Council general manager, Adrian Panuccio said.
"The facilitated workshop format has been well-received with attendance up on previous meetings.
"The open dialogue will be invaluable for us going forward, it's a great way to understand local community priorities."
Council urges members of the community to make time to go along to their closest meeting, or submit a question for discussion.
