Gloucester will come roaring to life as the 11th annual Gloucester Motorcycle Expo rolls into the Gloucester Showground on Saturday May 4 and Sunday May 5.
Organisers from the Gloucester Rotary Club are confident the event will bring nearly 1500 motorcycle enthusiasts to town. The combination of new bike displays, swap meet, motorcycle accessories and clothing, as well as promotional stands for motorcycle events, tours and studies will give visitors a full day of activities.
There will be spectacular show ring activities with Heaven VMX Club's Vintage Motorcross once again fielding some 150 riders as they compete for the Gloucester TT on the purpose built track.
There will be plenty of food and drink along with Gloucester band, The Bowden Brother performing on Saturday night, all are welcome to attend. Many bikers will be camping over the weekend. This is a popular side to the event with many old mates catching up at the Gloucester Motorcycle Expo and Rotary will be providing free firewood to help keep warm.
Run as a community event benefiting the motorcycling community primarily, this event also helps the Rotary carry out it's never ending local and international projects. If you see yourself wanting to become a part of our dynamic club, please contact Ernie Abeysekara at Helloworld Travel Gloucester.
