Ann Williamson, Claire Reynolds and Sandy Tebbet attended the CWA State Conference in Albury where many issues were raised and passed with good results for the future fundraising for many groups. We're very proud of junior members Claire Vanderstel and Erika Williamson for taking out 3rd place in the handicraft and Sandy Tebbet who took out 1st place in natural fibre garment (a lovely smok dress).

International day is fast approaching with both Gloucester CWA groups preparing a luncheon based on Papua New Guinea, with lovely food and guest speakers to talk of life in PNG.
Our next meeting on June 11 will welcome Alwyn Wheatly to talk about the life of the honey bee; should be a bit of a buzz! We're holding a garage sale and a cake stall to raise funds for repairs to the CWA rooms on Saturday May 25 from 9am until 1pm at the rooms.
