Everyone is invited to come out and share in a fun day out on Saturday, July 14 from 10am-2pm.
Events on the day will include a sausage sizzle, jumping castle, face painting and a chance to try out some bush tucker including crocodile and emu.
All weekend
- The Hindmarsh Collection at Taree Craft Cottage, 9.30am to 1pm at 77 Pulteney Street, Taree.
- Sea of Bellies exhibition, 10am to 4pm at Manning Regional Art Gallery.
- NSW State Karting Championships at the Wingham Sporting Complex track. Entry: free.
- 'Giriba Barray', exhibition at Gloucester Art Gallery, featuring Worimi artists Gai Clarke and Jack Wrattan.
- Orchid open days at Tinonee Orchid Nursery, 8am to 3pm on Saturday and Sunday
Friday
- Rudi's farmers market, 8am to 2pm at 12 Kanangra Drive, Taree.
- Tucker Patch farmgate stall, 9am to 11am at 62 Cemetery Road, Gloucester
- Movie screening of Show Dogs, 2pm to 3.35pm at Wingham Library. Bookings essential. Rated PG.
- NAIDOC awards night, from 7pm at the Exchange Waterfront Function Centre
- Adam Eckersley and Brooke McClymont perform at Club Old Bar. Show begins at 7.30pm.
Saturday
- Stroud Brick and Rolling Pin Throwing Competition, 6am to 6pm at Stroud Showground.
- Gloucester farmers market, 8am to noon at Billabong Park, Gloucester
- Winter on Wharf Street festival, 8am to 3pm at Wharf Street, Forster
- Wallamba River Family Fishing competition, 8am to 5pm at Discovery Parks, Forster
- Three Brothers Produce market, 8am to noon at Johns River Community Hall
- Wingham markets, 8am to noon at Wingham Skate Park
- Rotary Book Fair, 9am to 4pm at Forster Public School.
- Taree Open Art Exhibition opening, 1.30pm to 3.30pm at Taree High School hall. Cost: $10. Exhibition is free and runs until July 21.
- Bulls v Tigers clash for the Kristylea Bridge Cup at Jack Neal Oval, raising funds for Manning Valley Can Assist. Program starts with junior games at 9.30am.
- NAIDOC Indigenous Fashion Show, 7pm to 10pm at Winning Post Function Centre (Taree racecourse).
