Prior to the election at the annual general meeting, Brenda had presented her report for the previous year.
Brenda reminded all present of the busy year croquet had with club competitions, inter-club visits and friendship days and two terms with the school children.
Brenda mentioned also the great result our club had in taking out the Jan Sage Plate for most successful club in the Mid North Coast Golf Croquet competition. Gloucester had won Division 2, representatives being Brenda Pennicuik, Yvonne Bagnall and Bev Murray, as well as runner-up in Division 3 (Lyn Stewart, Judy Hopkins and Ken Gosson).
This was only the second time Gloucester had taken out this award, the last being 2015.
Judy Hopkins was returned as secretary and Al Minis as treasurer. Lyn Stewart is games captain for Ricochet and Bev Murray the games captain for Golf Croquet. Other members elected were Elaine Leech, vice president and Ashley Hickman and Iris Usback committee members.
At the conclusion of the meeting medals were presented to the winners of the Australia Day challenge, Steve Pennicuik, Bev Murray and Al Minis.
A soup and damper lunch, followed by social croquet, concluded the day.
