We had a huge response, as evident by the mega gallery above. Everyone has a story to tell, from camping out to taking their children to the tops for the first time.
Michael, Karlee and 13-week-old Ethan Lee hung out at The Firs picnic area.
"We went up with a group of mates and cooked breakfast in the snow, was a great day," Michael said.
It was an early rise for Taree's own 'Brady bunch' as they headed up to the tops.
Emily, with her children Amelia and Indiana and best friend Baelue in tow, they arrived to find no snow about.
"Ten minutes after arriving it started to flurry," Emily explained.
"Within an hours everything was white, a magical first time seeing snow for my children.
"We were officially hooked and now are self declared snow chasers.
"We went to find more on Sunday however police stopped us in our tracks to Barrington so we made a last minute decision and went to Walcha which was just as promising and magical at the Riamukka Stare forest."
Snow was still on the ground on Thursday, with maximum temperatures in the single digits.
