Travelling up from the Central Coast, around 15 artists will be joining forces for an exhibition in the Gloucester Gallery. For the Love of Country will exhibit a diverse range of works including 2D and 3D work, ceramics, sculpture, prints and paintings.
Taking advantage of a invitation from the gallery, its the first time the group has displayed their works in Gloucester.
"A love of country may refer to many things such as the environment, the location in which you live, your country of origin, cultural connections, or simply the diversity of our incredible Australian landscape," studio member, Therese Gabriel Wilkins said. "For Love of Country an opportunity for members to show through art what love of country means to them."
Throughout the exhibition, several of the artists will be in the gallery with opportunity meet the artists and learn about their craft.
The exhibition's official opening is on Saturday, December 7 from 2-4pm at Gloucester Gallery, 25 Denison Street. All are welcome. The exhibition will run from December 5 until December 29 with the gallery open Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 4pm. Entry is free.
Starting from humble beginnings in 2016 with a membership of 16, the studio has grown in fame and popularity, now boosting 60 membership and a fully equipped premises, holding regular workshops.
