Around 200 people attended the event held on October 26, including special guests: member for Lyne, David Gillespie, member for Upper Hunter, Michael Johnsen, MidCoast councillor, Karen Hutchinson and Public Schools NSW director, Kerrel Haire.
Visitors enjoyed our collection of school photo, and historical artifacts, with the event supported by the Stroud Men's Shed and the Stroud Historical Society.
The school was established in October 1919 with 23 enrolments, mainly farmers' children. The 1920s saw railway workers, blacksmiths, carriers, teamsters, storekeepers, stationmasters and saw millers send their children to the school.
