According to the Bureau of Meteorology, forecast for the rest of Friday (January 10) are partly cloudy skies and hot temperatures expecting to reach a top of 39 degrees. There's a slight chance of a shower and a thunderstorm in the afternoon, mostly on higher ground. Winds north to northeasterly 25 to 35 km/h. The fire danger is listed at very high and sun protection is recommended until 4.50pm with the UV index predicted to reach 12 [extreme].
Temperatures should ease on Saturday (January 11) with a cool change and the possibility of a storm. Partly cloudy skies with a medium chance of showers, most likely in the afternoon and evening and the chance of a thunderstorm. Winds northwest to northeasterly 20 to 30 km/h tending southeast to southwesterly 15 to 25 km/h early in the morning then becoming light in the evening. Temperatures are predicted to reach a top of 29 degrees with a low of 22 degrees. Sun protection is recommended from 8.40 am to 4.50 pm with the UV index predicted to reach 13 [extreme].
Cooler temperatures to continue for Sunday (January 12) with a medium chance of showers and thunderstorm, most likely in the morning and afternoon. Light winds becoming southeasterly 15 to 25 km/h during the morning then becoming light during the evening. Temperatures to reach a top of 25 degrees with a low of 18 degrees. Sun protection is recommended from 8.40am to 5pm with the UV index predicted to reach 13 [extreme].
