According to Transport for NSW, this follows temporary traffic changes to enable the existing road to be connected to the new bridge.
The new bridge is currently operating as a single lane bridge under the control of traffic lights.
The bridge will then fully open to traffic with one lane in each direction when the project is completed by late June, weather permitting.
Motorists are advised to observe speed limits, and to follow the direction of traffic controllers and signs.
The new bridge has been under construction since the start of September last year.
