In light of these recommends several Gloucester events have been cancelled and they are as follows:
The Gloucester Show, due to run on Friday, March 27 and Saturday, March 28 has been cancelled. The committee will hold a meeting to discuss the possibility of a postponement of some or all of the events to take place later in the year.
Gloucester Garden Club has announced that its next meeting scheduled for Wednesday, March 25 has been cancelled. The committee will review the situation before the April meeting.
Harmony Day, organised by the Bucketts Way Neighbourhood Group, which was due to take place on Wednesday, March 17 at the CWA rooms has also been cancelled.
Gloucester and District U3A has called all of its activities, including all courses and meetings, until the end of the school term. The committee will meet prior to the planned start of its term two activities on May 4 to make a decision about the resumption of courses.
The rally for support for the continued high levels of staffing for the new nursing home, which was due to take place on Thursday, March 19 at the Gloucester meeting place with a march down Church Street to Gloucester hospital has been cancelled.
