Thursday's Gloucester Bowling Club winners were Tony Tersteeg, Chris Pritchard and Clive Redman who collected a maximum nine shots on end 15 to defeat Rob Gibson, Alex Laurie and Terry Davies 26-17. Vic Hebblewhite and Steve Kriss thought the kitty had COVID and practiced social distancing all day going down to Don Meheiloff and James Davison 22-14. George Wisemantel, Andrew Henderson and Col Beattie defeated Wayne Groves, Peter Sansom and Terry Higgins 23-18. Lu Urby and Garry Moss defeated Rob Heininger and Stephen Hurworth 22-16. John Andrews, Gordon Pritchard and Paul Sheridan defeated Kevin Burley, Graham Turnbull and John West 20-12.

The mixed pairs championships continued on Saturday with close scores being the order of the day but Kevin Burley and Joan Ridgeway came from behind to win the last four ends defeating Terry Davies and Patty West 21-18. John Andrews and Jenny Burley jumped out of the barrier only conceding three ends in the first twelve to defeat George Wisemantel and Di Lockwood 19-14. John and Jenny fronted again on Sunday for another victory over Kevin Burley and Joan Ridgeway 24-20. In the other game, Nico Duynhoven and Jean Holstein inflicted the first defeat on Pauline Hall's short career proving to strong for her and Jason Cassidy to run out winners 26-14.
The Norm Hebblewhite Memorial Day will be held on Saturday 24 October 24 commencing at 9am with teams representing from Manning Point, Wingham and Taree as well as a strong local contingent which should make for a great day.
