Anne gave a comprehensive report of the branch's activities over the past year. Activities have included morning teas, luncheons and visits to group functions at Harrington and Camden Haven. COVID forced the cancellation of monthly meetings with emails taking their place. Once the restrictions eased, COVID-safe meetings were re-introduced and handicraft mornings commenced with members making masks, which proved very popular with Gloucester residents.
A training session on the newly purchased defibrillator was conducted by Robyn Scott for members of both branches and other users of the rooms. This was an informative and interesting session giving participants the confidence to use this piece of equipment should the need arise.
At the conclusion of the AGM, a short monthly meeting took place and was followed by a COVID friendly lunch.
The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 10 commencing at 10am.
