Thursday Gloucester Bowling Club matches were reduced due to the weather with the winners being Col Beattie and Stephen Hurworth defeating Neville Atkins and Steve Kriss 15-9. Kevin Everett, Graham Turnbull and Robbie Bowden defeated Gordon Pritchard, George Wisemantel and James Davison 12-9. The battle of the fishing enthusiasts Terry Carson, Peter Bignell and Andrew Henderson let Vic Hebblewhite, Kevin Baker and Gary Spokes off the hook to take the game 11-8. Kevin Burley, Don Meheiloff and Terry Davies defeated Terry Higgins, Rob Gibson and Charlie Faulkner 14-10. And Lu Urby, Kel Smith (visitor) and Clive Redman had a draw with Nico Duynhoven, Chris Pritchard and Alex Laurie 9-9.

The remaining game in the semi-final of the mixed pairs was played on Saturday with Kevin and Jill Everett coming home strong in the second half of the game to defeat Nico Duynhoven and Jean Holstein 29-15 who now will play John Andrews and Jenny Burley in the final with a date to be confirmed.
The first round of the minor singles will be played on Saturday November 7 at 1pm so check the draw for all games and Karuah mixed bowlers will be here on Saturday and Sunday November 14 and 15 to take on the locals and the sheet is on the board for names.
