On Saturday and Sunday, the Karuah mixed travelling bowlers visited Gloucester with action on both days proving to be very social both on the green and in the club.
As usual, when all the results were collated, a draw was the final decision but some locals are requesting a recount (obviously they watch too much TV). Karuah won both first and second prize in the raffle taking home gifts kindly donated by Nana's Homeware and Gifts, Jean Holstein and Di Lockwood and the barbecue was perfectly prepared by Rae Davies who donated the onions and assistant chef Heather Burley. The next round of the minor singles will be contested on Saturday so check the draw regarding your game and times and you must organise your own marker.
