Gloucester Senior Citizens Centre Club members have met in the centre on Hume Street to resume activities for 2021 strictly following NSW Government COVID-19 regulations regarding signing in, social distancing and hand sanitising.
After such a long period without face to face contact for some members, the opportunity to greet and catch up is 'just what the doctor ordered'.
Unfortunately membership has fallen in the past 12 months with a number of members moving away from Gloucester into retirement villages and assisted living care and sadly some of our dear regulars have passed away.
A calendar of events is being drawn up for the coming months and regular Hoi will continue on Saturday afternoons at 1.30pm.
New members are always welcome and if you are interested in joining, please call in on Monday mornings to the Gloucester Senior Citizens Centre at 30 Hume Street from 9.30am to share a cupcake and a chat.
