It is the same trip at the same time last year which had to be cancelled because of the complete coronavirus lockdown in Australia.
So, needless to say, it is a day trip eagerly looked forward to by members of this Probus group, which is sometimes called a travel club, with fun, friendship and fellowship necessary ingredients.
There are a few seats left on the coach therefore, if anyone, not necessarily a member, wants to come along; please contact Joan Harwood on 0428 107 663.
Meanwhile, 60 members attended the annual general meeting of Gloucester Probus last week to select a new committee and project officers.
Incoming president is Peter Hazell, vice president Dennis Buckton, secretary Judy Earle, treasurer Robyn Franks, tour director Marguerite McNamara, and committee members Rae Davies, Bev Hungerford, Robert Sparke, Ken Higgins and John Parish.
Two new members inducted were Kim Lawrence and Bell Green.
The club meets once a month, on the first Thursday in the Gloucester Uniting Church Hall, 5 Cowper Street with regular guest speakers.
Anyone wanting to taste test Probus should come along and get acquainted.
For further details ring the president Peter Hazell 0400 489 265, secretary Judy Earle 0401 686 699, or tour director Marguerite McNamara 0439 655 448, or any member.
