The president and members of the Gloucester Sub Branch of Returned and Services League of Australia and the Women's Auxiliary acknowledge with deep regret the death of his Royal Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
We recognise his remarkable life, serving in World War II with distinction, his unwavering support to her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and lifelong service to his country and in fact to many countries of the commonwealth.
His life and that of the Queen are enduring examples of devoted service, stability and loyalty to one's country.
Lest we forget
The Gloucester RSL Sub Branch will in recognition of his death fly the Australian national flag and the British flag at half mast at the Gloucester Memorial Clock Tower from 8am till 5pm on the day of his Royal Highness' funeral at Saturday April 17 (Sunday April 18 AEST).
