Everything is on track for the event to take place on Saturday May 1 and Sunday May 2 at the Gloucester Showground.
The expo, run by the Gloucester Rotary Club, is not only one of the service club's largest annual fundraising activities, it's also one of Gloucester's biggest events bringing more than 1000 visitors to town.
Co-organiser, Sam de Witte is stoked the expo is able to proceed this year, making it the 12th time the event has run since its inception 13 years ago.
"It's one of the Rotary Club's signature events," Sam said.
"It's good to open it up again to get people travelling to regional areas.
"In the past, we've had 1000 to 1500 people through the gate and we're hoping for the same this year."
One of the big drawcards, is the Heaven Vintage Motocross event that takes place within the expo.
Known as one of Heaven's biggest competitions of its annual calendar, this year the club's will be holding the Gloucester TT and pointscore round 2/6 Vintage Motocross Series. The racing runs all day Saturday and into the night under the big showground lights, with things finishing off on Sunday morning.
The only change to the VMX event at this stage is the location.
In the past, the purpose-built track has been set up on the show ring, but since the Gloucester AH&P Association has not long renovated the area with state government COVID-10 Stimulus funding, it's been moved. The track will be built were the camping has typically taken place with the camping being relocation onto the show ring.
Elsewhere at the expo, attendees can expect to see much of the old favourites including tonnes of motorcycle gear and gadgets, home-cooked food and a bit of live local music.
"Stallholders aren't up to the same number as in the past as a result of COVID impacting some businesses' ability to provide staff, but the main ones will be there," Sam said.
The trade stalls, Show and Shine and swap meet will run from 9am until 5pm on Saturday.
New this year will be the option to take a joy flight in a helicopter. There's even a chance to win a free ride as part of the lucky door prizes, which are due to be drawn around 2pm on the Saturday.
Entry costs $20 per adults, $40 per family with kids under 16 admitted free when accompanied by an adult. Free camping is included in the cost of entry on Friday April 30 and Saturday May 1 nights.
