Several Lower Mid North Coast Junior Rugby members took part in the NSW Rugby Country Championships, played at different locations across the State.

The best of the best junior players in each zone, age and gender came together to celebrate rugby and fight for the opportunity to be crowned country champions.
There were nine local players selected to represent the zone.
Amy Shultz, from Gloucester, played for Mid North Coast Tomahawks under 18s girls and was awarded best back in the Mid North Coast while Olivia and Emily Marsh, also from Gloucester, played for the Mid North Coast Tomahawks under 16s girls.
Anthony Shultz, formerly of Gloucester and now attending boarding school in Tamworth) was a force upfront for the Central West under 16s boys.
Dylan George, formerly of Diamond Beach and now Kempsey, and Pryce Crane, formerly of Gloucester and now Port Macquarie, represented the Mid North Coast Axemen under 15s boys.
It was a very hard tournament for the boys, with the team unable to secure a win.
Noah Dodds, from Forster Tuncurry, played for Mid North Coast Axemen under 13s.
Taree's Lucy Green and Diamond Beach's Sienna Limpic played for the Hunter Wildfires. The side went onto be crowned the under 18s women's champions.
Lucy and Sienna were sensational all tournament and were selected in the NSW Country Corellas team.
The side defeated Hunter, Illawarra, Far North Coast to top the pool and then turned around a seven point deficit at half time to defeat Central West 32-17 in the semi-final.
Before the grand final against powerhouse Central Coast, former Wallabies David Campese, James Holbeck and Morgan Turinui provided inspiration videos.
The Axemen trailed 12-7 at half time against the more favoured opponents.
Injuries occurred late in the match and despite the skilled Axemen back line creating opportunities, Central Coast won the decider 32-17.
Training will begin for all age groups under 18 at Nabiac on Wednesday May 26 from 6pm for the upcoming Coffs Challenge 10s event.
The event will be held June 28-30 and will be followed by three gala days in the Lower Mid North Coast zone.
Expressions of interest will be sent to clubs outside of the zone to help promote junior rugby.
Meanwhile, a Waratahs development officer will assist all clubs to help drive junior rugby in local schools.
