Congratulations to Carol Newitt, who played her first game of doubles in a MNCCC competition and despite going down 4-6 with Lyn Stewart. She was overjoyed with her performance.

Judy Hopkins and Denise had a close 5-7, Bev Murray and Alec Bruce 4-6, Yvonne Bagnall and Denise Bruce 5-7 and Ken Gosson and Denise Bruce 3-7.
Gloucester came up against some very competent players.
For Yvonne Bagnall, in each game she played her opponent was playing off a handicap of 3 as was Bev Murray whose opponent played off 4.
The Gloucester team held up very well providing some strong competition throughout the whole day.
While going down overall, it was a most enjoyable day of competition and friendship.
Gloucester has now had a win against Forster but went down to both Port Macquarie and Taree.
