The event was an Individual Stableford sponsored by Gai and Greg Falla. It attracted a field of 32 on what was a pleasant warm and sunny spring day, and a drying course giving players a deal more distance for each shot than was being experienced but a couple of months ago.
The winner was regular veteran golfer Joost, who scored a very impressive 40 Stableford points.
He was followed by runner up Mike Howard whose 38 points headed the ball competition.
He was one point ahead of Brian McInnes and Phil Hawkins 37, Ken Kelly, Ele Fraser and Steve Kriss, 36 with Bruce Fraser and Dever Webb 35 the last of the ball winners.
On Tuesday September 14, the Gloucester veteran golfers will be staging an Individual Stableford sponsored by John Clarke. The following week there is an Individual Stroke and Putting event sponsored by Sherry and Peter Wildblood.
