Les borrowed the photo from Yvonne Prince, daughter of Mervyn (Bo) Price. As far as Les knows, the man in the back row, second from the right is Bo.
"Someone told me there may be an Everett in the front row on the extreme left," Les said.
He's also not 100 per cent sure of the origins of the photo.
"If my assumption is correct, the picture may be the 1937 Gloucester representative team," Les said.
"Country Week was an enormous event on the cricket calendar and Gloucester won the title from among all the country districts in 1937."
According to Les, the week saw all players from all the region converged on Sydney each November/December for the tournament.
"I think it may be a Gloucester rep team, and if it is, it's from 1937. Gloucester won the Country Week state championship in Sydney with Inverell the runner up."
Les has been a cricket fan since he was young. His earliest memory of the game was from when he was eight or nine years old. He still has the occasional game in veterans tournaments.
He's written two books about the sport with a third on the way.
"My 2015 published book Cricket in the Manning s was well received with over 200 attending the launch," Les said.
"In May this year, I released Inverell Cricketers, Curators and Centuries plotting the path of some 118 years of Inverell cricket history. Contents include stories on Rick McCosker and the famous Gilchrist family."
His love of the sport is quite simple - it's just part of being Australia.
"it is our national sport and some fine men with very fine character guided me in my formative years," Les said.
He also has a connection to Gloucester cricket.
"I am also proud to know Eric Higgins, a Gloucester boy who has achieved a lot in NSW country cricket."
