A man has been arrested after he and two other balaclava-clad thieves allegedly used a shotgun to force entry into a home and demand cash from the occupants.

The horror intensified for the terrified Mildura, Victoria, residents when the same criminals allegedly returned that night to make further demands before firing a shotgun into the home.
Police said three men forced their way into the Hornsey Park home for the first time at 2.50am on February 6, stole money and fled the scene.
When they allegedly returned at 10.50pm, on the same day, the occupants ran and called police.
A 27-year-old Mildura man, one of the alleged thieves, fired a shotgun at the home before leaving with his alleged accomplices.
Charges laid against one suspect
Investigators tracked the 27-year-old to a home at Kalimna Drive, Mildura where he was arrested on February 9.

He was charged with with aggravated home invasion, armed robbery, attempted armed robbery as well as firearms and assault-related offences and faces the Mildura Magistrates Court on February 12. .
Police continue to search for two other men believed to have been part of the alleged armed robbery.
