Even though it poured down rain about an hour before the event was due to kick off, the club said it was a very pleasant afternoon.
Numbers were down from last years event, possible due to the weather, but it didn’t stop members and guest getting out on the field and having a bit of fun.
Around 20 people braved the damp grounds for the chance to practice a few skills and take on the various challenges after which everyone enjoyed an Aussie tea.
Social Golf Croquet was then played into the cool of the afternoon.
The club is open to anyone who is interested in giving it a try.
They play Golf Croquet on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Association Croquet is played on Wednesdays and Ricochet is payed on Thursday.
Drop by the club, near the Gloucester Swimming Pool, at anytime to pick up a times card.
